Kawaii Sushi Amigurumi

Hi there! Back with another project I finished a while ago. I wanted to give a handmade gift to my niece for her birthday and I got an idea from emoticon. You’ll see the finished project on my next post.

The first part of the present are this Kawaii Sushi Amigurumi. I got the pattern from Flying Mio And then just made my own versions for the maki ones, based on Twinkie Chan’s Sushi Scarf pattern, published in her book Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies. Go check both of them out. They are so great at what they do!

Keep an eye out for the next part of this finished project.

Happy crocheting! 😀

Rainbow Tinycorn and TinyPegasus

Hi there! After a long hiatus, finally back to post some of the projects I’ve done.

A while ago, I saw this cute Tiny Rainbow Unicorn Pattern by Ahooka’migurumi and I just wanted to make one to try it out. Since then, I have made several of the Tinycorn and the TinyPegasus and want to make more to give as gifts to some family and friends.

I have kept one Tiny Pegasus, but want to make a Tinycorn to keep as well.

In the future I’ll post the new ones I make, since I’m gonna make some in different colors. In the meantime I hope you like these two.

Happy crocheting! 😀

Candy Button Hat

Hi there! Sorry for not posting in a while now. But anyway, here is another project I finished about a month ago.

I took the Candy Button Scarf pattern from Twinkie Chan and modified it to create a matching hat to go with the scarf I already made, more or less following the Chocolate Cupcake Hat with Blue Frosting pattern. Also a pattern in Twinkie Chan´s  book.

This was also a gift for my sister-in-law. I hope you like my adaptation.

Happy crocheting! 😀

Twinkie Chan’s Candy Button “Rainbow” Scarf

Hi there! I wanted to share my third crochet project I did back in December. It was a birthday present for my sister-in-law. I love her so much and she loves all the colors of the rainbow. So I thought of taking Twinkie Chan’s Candy Button Scarf pattern and change the colors to make it a Candy Button Rainbow scarf.

I also took this idea and later made a matching hat for her, which Ill share on another post.

This pattern was super easy to do and lots of fun. I really recommend it for crochet beginners.

Hope you’re all having a great weekend!

Happy crocheting! 😀

FIRST POST: TWINKIE CHAN´S CUPCAKE SCARF AND HAT

Hi there! This is my very first post on my adventures in crocheting. I hope you enjoy the patterns and the things I knit as much as I love doing them. For not most of them are just patterns that I have found elsewhere. But maybe will create my own patterns.

I got VERY inspired by Twinkie Chan’s blog . I first got introduced to Twinkies crochet book  by my friend June Shieh and just got obsessed with her style and all the patterns, I just needed to learn to do them. So between her blog and Sammy’s blog (a.k.a. @thesammersaurus) I got inspired to start this crochet (and later knitting) blog and my Nail Art Blog “Nails Geek Diary“.

I’m a crochet enthusiast. Just started crocheting this past November 2014. I’m loving it and can’t wait to share crochet stuff and the cute patterns I find with the community.

The first thing I ever crocheted was this Cupcake Scarf. The pattern is “Cupcake Scarf” by Twinkie Chan. And then I crocheted the Cupcake Hat. Also a pattern by Twinkie Chan, which is “Chocolate Cupcake Hat with Blue Frosting“.They can both be found in her book “Twinkie Chan’s Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies“.

I think its a great project for a beginner. It’s easy to understand and super cute!

I’m a huge fan of Twinkie Chan, so definitely will try to do another pattern from her book.

Happy knitting! 😀
